It is normally superb at questing and it has both means of treachery cancelation currently available: Eleanor and A Test of Will. With such great threat management, it should be no problem to keep the Gandalf in play, or prevent others from running too high. There is some defensive prowess: Arwen, Blood of Númenor and Light the Beacons, or Gandalf (if he is not busy already).
